DAY 91, LOG ENTRY # 14

Hello my dear views or whatever or whoever you are... this will be my last page maybe? we still don't know what the future awaits us all.. My final word is : "Eh" ¯\_(ツ)_ /¯ I just don't know what to say about this. I'll just do this quick and simple.

Q:"What is Earth science for you"
A:"Earth science is the study of Earth, where you can discover or may experience the mystery of the world and thus you can review, study or recall your past discussion with your teacher. It always helps as the saying goes "One step at a time, 5 or 6 backwards to the memory lane." That is all I could say/ type this time.

Hugot Lines about weather

DAY 84, LOG ENTRY # 13

This Page will be dedicated all about "Hugot" Lines or edgy lines for some people. Tagalog and English.

+ Mas mabuti pa ang "PAGASA" mas matino ang forecast kaysa sayo, PAASA lang.

+ Mas mabuti payung bagyo naakasira pero maayos din, pero ikaw makakasira pero hindi maayos agad.

+ All these typhoons, still you didn't bother to watch over me.. kaya na man mas mabuti pa ang PAGASA kaysa sayo.

Kaya naman bilib lang sa PAGASA

+ All these changing weather, still can't change your mind.
+ Rain is like feelings sometimes it is strong, sometimes it is not and at first it is weak then afterwards it is strong and you expect that it would never last long but it became a typhoon. 

Worst weather related case

DAY 77, LOG ENTRY # 12

The worst related case I have experienced was the Typhoon Yolanda or Typhoon Haiyan, almost 3 years ago.

The was a good and bad week or two because of these following reasons:

+ No classes

+ No electricity

+ Hard work

+ More time for the family

+ No bath for a day or two

+ Many people died

+ It made me fat because I was eating too much at that time.(great times)

I felt apathy at that time up to this point of my life. Just a brief moment of my happiness and all the time being fed up to life. Those times keep me pondering about life and death and why good men always suffer? and just just that insanity was drawing near as I keep on pondering that in my head everyday of my life. My after-thoughts about it was "Wow, destruction is everywhere." then a conversation over my head came next to it "We are all gonna die", "Yes, we are, but we are slowly dying and rotting in this vessel and some are there dying fast like Usain Bolt" even though it is like that I still feel apathy. 

Earthquake proof building

DAY 70, LOG ENTRY # 11

First of all I am sorry if I don't the picture or the proof of our building and so I'm just write it down in detailed.

First, we decided the layout of our building, the materials and time.

List of Materials:

+ 30 - 35 Straws

+ 25x25 cm Illustration board

+ 100 pcs. Paper clips

+ 2 meters strings

+ 50 pins (I don't really know the precise number)

+ blood and sweat (I mean hard work)

We had trouble with our first prototype building because it has limited area, we decide that it would be the 23 x 23 cm, we didn't have the precise measurement for the straws. It had a weak foundation and it easily fell down, but on the day before the deadline for submission, we created our 2nd prototype, it took us 4 hours to make but worth it. The 2nd prototype or our final building is the formidable structure, it has the smaller area than the 1st prototype. We hypothesized that if we use the paper clips as the skeleton that would support our building. Also we decided that the building has a smaller area so that the paper clips has the higher chance to be linked together. 

In testing our building, we ask our beloved and handsome(extra points, JK) teacher, Mr. Robbie Yasi, on what is the weight of the rice bag then he replied "more or less as the weight of the iPhone" and so we test that and it didn't fell down, for some reason the strongest part is the middle part of our building because it has small area, embedded with 3 or 4 paper clips. I think it don't have weak spots because of the same process we did for the top part of our building. For the strings we put it in the middle and upper part to support the rice bags. The pins are used as to bond the straws together in the base part of our building. We had 5 more straws extra and so we put it in the middle, base part like an X mark, more or less it was a design.
